The Hannibal Jaycees are accepting applications for upcoming National Tom Sawyer Days events, including the Fourth of July Parade, Hannibal's Got Talent talent show, and National Fence Painting Contest.

National Tom Sawyer Days 2015 will open on Wednesday, July 1 with armband night at the carnival.

The pet show will take place on Thursday, July 2. Mud volleyball will get underway, and Tanyard Gardens will open with Madd Hoss Jackson headlining that night. Blacktop South will open. Tickets for Thursday night start at $8, and can be purchased online.

On Friday, July 3, arts and crafts will open at Central Park. Tricycle races, local and state fence painting, and the Tomboy Sawyer contest are also on the July 3 schedule. Country music recording artist Jon Pardi will perform at Tanyard Gardens. Natalie Stovall and the Drive will open. Tickets are available online for the concert. The price for general admission tickets is $20.

The annual parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 4. The Tom and Becky announcement will take place at noon at Central Park. The Frog Jump Contest, washers tournament, Hannibal's Got Talent, and National Fence Painting Contest will also take place on July 4. A fireworks show will begin at dusk.

National Tom Sawyer Days will wind down on Sunday, July 5, with arts and crafts in the park, mud volleyball, horseshoe tournament, and a raffle drawing for Jeep Patriot, Kawasaki Mule, or $15,000 cash.
