Like Beyonce, Bush 41, and a handful of Radio City Rockettes, Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner will not be a part of Donald Trump’s Inauguration on January 20.

According to the Associated Press, Rauner says he’ll be “focused on Illinois” and wishes to “minimize the distractions”.

In the weeks leading up to the election, the Republican governor refused to comment on the now President-Elect. He skipped the GOP Convention in July and famously stated in May that he would not endorse Trump in the presidential race.
