Quincy’s Tilted Kilt Is Closing (Meet Its Replacement)

Looks like Quincy’s riverfront will soon be home to a new restaurant!

WGEM is reporting that Quincy’s Tilted Kilt location, which opened in 2014, will close at the end of business Thursday evening. It will be replaced by a new chain, Native Grill & Wings, in February. Tilted Kilt always had a great beer selection and I enjoyed their food very much too. I know it will be missed by many.

Native Grill & Wings was founded in 1979 in Arizona. According to nativegrillandwings.com, there are currently 32 franchises in the United States with another two coming soon (not including Quincy which is currently not listed).

In the past decade, the riverfront property at 138 N. Front Street has also been home to Backwaters Night Club and Johnny Bang Bang’s.

I’ve personally never heard of the new chain, but I’m always up for trying something new. Here's hoping that it will more of a family friendly environment. Brodie is going to be a little upset to hear about Tilted Kilt though…
