This Saturday the Quincy Humane Society will host the Mutt Strut 2018.  This year’s theme is Disco InFURno. The event will be held at Wavering Park from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Mutt Strut is the area’s largest outdoor dog friendly festival and dog walk. The event includes their traditional One Mile Mutt Strut and a new Doggie Dancing Contest and Demonstration from Holly Schell of Elite Studio.

Children at the Mutt Strut can make creative and fun art in the Kids Zone sponsored by the Quincy Art Center. Plus there will be plenty of local vendors, families, individuals and dogs that will be participating in numerous pet contests and games including an obstacle course. There will also be a basket raffle and silent auction!

Registration is now open, and for the first time ever you can you can register online on our official event webpage at www.give.classy.org/muttstrut2018. You can still register the old fashioned way by coming to Quincy Humane Society, located at 1705 North 36th to pick up a registration form.
