Quincy Woman Sentenced for Aggravated DUI

A Quincy woman goes to prison after being convicted of driving under the influence for the ninth time.

61-year-old Konnie Kelly McCord was sentenced to nine years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to one count of aggravated DUI. She had been convicted of DUI seven times before in Illinois and twice in Texas.

McCord was arrested April 8 near 36th and Broadway in Quincy after being observed driving erratically. At the time, McCord had a blood alcohol level of .204, nearly two-and-a-half times the legal limit.
