The Quincy University Music Program will be hosting a Saxophone Day on November 1. It is a day that will bring together high school saxophone players from around the area to form a saxophone choir.

Participants will spend the afternoon rehearsing music and learning about the saxophone. And get this, each student will receive a gift bag of interesting music items. Saxophone players between the grades of 9-12 are encouraged to attend. The cost is free and dinner is included. The event will begin at 12 noon and culminate with a concert at 7 pm for family and friends. This will take place in the Connie Niemann Center for Music on the campus of Quincy University.
