Quincy Police Warning People of Suspicious Activity

Quincy Police were kept busy with three separate reports of suspicious activity in the city limits. The Quincy Police Department is warning residents, especially the elderly, of solicitors who may be trying to break into your home.

According to reports police are looking for a Hispanic man in his 20’s who is attempting to lure residents out of their homes claiming he is working for the city and then discusses landscaping on the property that needs to be done or work needed in a nearby alley.

The suspect is believed to be working with two other males who have been seen with him.  Working as a team, the one male distracts the property owner and the other two enter the home robbing items from the house.

Residents are encouraged to contact the Quincy Police Department immediately upon having contact with these individuals.
