With schools in the area about to break for the summer many parents of youngsters will be needing to find activities for their children. May I suggest one such activity? If your child loves to play basketball, Coach Andy Schmitt, a Quincy native, will be holding individual, as well as group lessons, specific to the current basketball skill level and age of your son or daughter.

Coach Schmitt has spent the last five seasons working for some of the country's most renown and highly respected coaches in the likes of Bruce Weber (Kansas State), John Groce (Illinois), Brandon Miller (Butler), and most recently Dave Loos (Austin Peay).

Coach Schmitt also spent the duration of the summer 2013 traveling the country working multiple basketball camps with the intention of learning the best skill development and training techniques available. Those stops included Syracuse, Florida, UNCC, Xavier, and Purdue among others.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Andy for years and have seen his dedication while playing and now as a coach. Coach Schmitt is thoroughly committed to the overall improvement of your child's basketball game and is excited about the opportunity to offer his talents to the youth in his hometown area.

If you want to see improvement in your son's or daughter's on court performance I suggest you contact Coach Schmitt today for all the details. He can be reached by calling (217)-440-9657 or at andyschmitt17@gmail.com.
