Each year, the Quincy Museum at 1601 Maine Street offers a chance for mothers and daughters, grandmothers and granddaughters, aunts and nieces, or any combination of adult and child to celebrate Valentine's Day with a special event at the Historic Newcomb-Stillwell Mansion. This year, we will not only have a traditional Valentine Tea, but we will also have a bridal fashion show featuring young ladies modeling wedding gowns belonging to their mothers or grandmothers.

The festivities begin at 11:00 AM with a delicious Valentine luncheon and continue with a special craft that everyone can make and then take home. The event will end with the bridal fashion show.

Reservations are required and the cost of the event is $12.50 per person. Reservations need to be made by Wednesday, February 11.

If your young lady would like to dress up in a family bridal gown, please tell the folks at the museum when you make your reservation. This is a great time to make a special memory that you and your young lady will share forever.

Make your reservation today as seating is limited! Reservations can be made by calling the Quincy Museum at 217-224-7669. The museum office is open Monday through Friday from 9 to 5. The museum accepts Visa and MasterCard.
