A Quincy man goes to jail after he is found slumped over the wheel early Saturday morning. Quincy Police and EMS responded to the intersection of 24th and Broadway at 12:40 a.m.  Officers identified the driver as Albert Cartmill, Jr. of Quincy.  EMS personnel evaluated and cleared Cartmill and then turned him over to police.

Officers discovered numerous illegal substances on Cartmill’s person and in the vehicle.  Police report the substances are believed to be meth, cocaine, heroin, cannabis, and prescription hydrocodone.

Cartmill was arrested for Aggravated DUI, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Controlled Substances, Cannabis possession, driving on an expired license and operating an uninsured vehicle.  He was lodged in the Adams County Jail.
