On Saturday, July 16, the 3rd annual Dog Days of Summer fundraiser will be held
from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Quincy Mall. It’s the only day of the year when Quincy Mall becomes pet friendly. All proceeds benefit Homeward Bound Waggin, Inc. and there is a full lineup of events planned and they’re not just for dogs either!
For a $12 registration fee, your pet can partake in a variety of races including the ever
popular Doxie Derby, Puppy Rookie Races and Small Breed Maiden Races. The
registration fee also includes an event t-shirt, goodie bag and raffle ticket. Other events
include a peanut butter licking contest, scavenger hunt, raffles, carnival games for the kids, and stop by Paula Sue’s kissing booth.

Keep in mind that all dogs must be dog friendly and no retractable leashes are
allowed. Mall entry is free for the event. The guest emcees for the event are Chad
Douglas, Tegan Orpet and Jenny Dreasler from KHQA-TV. There will be vendors, food, games and fun and all for a good cause.  Everyone will be encouraged to upload their photos and videos using #HBWRaceDay.

Bring your dogs, families and friends to Quincy Mall on Saturday, July 16, and enjoy
“A Day at the Races”!  For more information, contact Ronna Robertson at 302-354-5648 or go to www.homewordboundwaggin@gmail.com
