The Quincy Mall and Domestic Abuse Re-lief are holding a community-minded competition at the mall. The public is being challenged to build the best playhouse you can out of whatever scraps, bits and pieces you can find. Once built, the playhouses will be auctioned off on September 21. All proceeds are going to Domestic Abuse Re-Lief to renovate existing homes that will go to domestic abuse victims.

The playhouses needs to be built by September 6 and will be on display in the Quincy Mall from September 6 through September 21. The auction on September 21 will begin at 10 a.m.

In building the playhouse, you can work alone or in groups and be creative. There will be prizes for creativity, the most fun, the best architecture, the best interior and the best overall. Also, make sure you also include a sign telling who made the structure.
