This weekend in Quincy, you can take a selfie with the President of the United States. Well, not the current president, but a president nonetheless. Just don’t forget the selfie stick or bring a friend with long arms so you can get his entire hat in the picture.

Take all of your friends and family to meet President Abraham Lincoln and celebrate his heritage at Lincoln in the District this Saturday. For one day only, Washington Park will take a step back in time and host a variety of activities, including carriage rides, operational blacksmithing stations, and a reenactment of one of Quincy’s most famous events: the debate between Lincoln and political opponent Stephen Douglas. This is just a sampling of activities, though, as fifteen total will be featured during the day.

Come down to Washington Park this Saturday, June 10th from 10 am to 3 pm and join President Lincoln in a celebration of his life and the time period he lived in.
