The Quincy Gems are preparing for their 2015 Prospect League Baseball season under their new ownership. The first home game is set for Thursday, May 28 at Q.U. Stadium. To be able to put on a baseball game takes more than just players. The behind the scenes personnel are really the people who make watching a game very enjoyable. It is those very people that the Quincy Gems are hoping will come out to their Job Fair this Saturday.

The Job Fair will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at Cafe' J in the Quincy Development Center at 1400 North 30th Street (Old Motorola Building). Just enter through the double doors in the circle drive area.

The Gems are looking for people to work concessions, bar, stadium maintenance, sound and scoreboard operations, the merchandise booth and more. All applicants for these summer job opportunities must be able to work evenings and weekends in an outdoor atmosphere.

For more information, contact the Gems at (217) 214-7436, or go to QuincyGems.com.
