Actors from across the region are taking to the stage in Quincy Community Theatre’s captivating production of 'The Rainmaker,' May 2-5 & 9-11.

To bring this classic story to life, QCT has slated an exceptional cast that is truly representative of the theatre’s membership and patrons. Featuring actors from Quincy, IL; Fowler, IL; Canton, MO; Hannibal, MO; and Palmyra, MO, the cast includes Dan Conboy as “H.C. Curry,” Jim Dewey as “Sheriff Thomas,” Greg Ellery as “Starbuck,” Grant Farmer as “Jim Curry,” Tom Gooding as “Noah Curry,” David Ripper as “File,” and Terri Stutheit as “Lizzie Curry.”

“QCT has been a major theatrical resource for the entire Tri-State area since 1923,” commented Managing Artistic Director Lenny Bart. “We’re proud to continue that tradition by showcasing actors not just from Quincy, but from our entire region.”

'The Rainmaker' is under the direction of Managing Artistic Director Lenny Bart, with scenic and lighting design by Assistant Technical Director Seth Campbell and costumes by resident designer Anna Grywalski. Kent Slack serves as the stage manager.
