“All children grow up…except one.” Peter Pan and Neverland come to life in this intimate and imaginative retelling of J.M. Barrie’s beloved story about the boy who never grew up. Performed in QCT’s small Laboratory Theatre, the setting for this innovative production is an old attic, which through the imagination of a small group of children (and the audience), transforms into the mystical island of Neverland. All of the characters that you know and love (or love to hate) are brought to life by only eight actors. This unique theatrical event is sure to be an “awfully big adventure!”

Chosen from an audition pool of over forty talented students, this extraordinary cast of actors from Quincy and La Grange, MO includes Jay Stalder as Peter Pan, Mackenzie Johnston as Wendy, Alex Gough as Mr. Darling/Hook/Mermaid, Drake Price as Michael/Nibs/Neverbird/Pirate, Andrew Cliatt as John/Curly/Neverbird/Pirate, Sierra Schnack as Mrs. Darling/Smee/Twins/Jane, Courtney Stewart as Tootles/Starkey/Noodler, and Wes Friday as Nana/Slightly/Tiger Lily/Neverbird/Jukes/Cecco/Mullins. Alice Gorman will play the piano, adding musical underscoring to the play.

'Peter Pan' is under the direction of Director of Student Theatre Brandon Thomsen, with scenic and lighting design by Assistant Technical Director Seth Campbell, and costumes by resident designer Anna Grywalski. Sharon Tieken is serving as the Stage Manager and Shelby Rees is the Assistant Stage Manager.
