Currently in Las Vegas for a conference, staffers of Quincy Area Bridal Magazine have updated their friends and fans via a Facebook post, assuring all of their safety.

“We have spent the morning in communication with our families and friends, watching the news for updates, and praying for the victims and the people of Las Vegas,” reads the post.

According to the post, the team was near the site of the Sunday night tragedy at the Route 91 Festival that claimed the lives of at least 58 people and injured at least 515 more.

The QAB team also extended their gratitude for the region’s first responders.

“We want to take a moment to express our utmost gratitude to the first responders and people of this city who heroically participated in ending this nightmare and returning people to safety.”

The team was enjoying a round at a nearby Top Golf attraction when they were notified of the events and kept on lockdown until the early morning hours. Many of those attending the concert fled to the Top Golf site as events unfolded.

They've promised to update followers via Facebook at a later time.
