Quincy a Finalist for All-America City Honors

Quincy Mayor Kyle Moore announced today that the City of Quincy has been named a finalist for the All America City honors!  In making the announcement, the Mayor congratulated our city and citizens "who make Quincy so great."

The Mayor, at the news conference at the Oakley Lindsay Center this afternoon, also announced that there has been a committee formed to make the presentation with Lenny Bart serving as the committee chairman.

The committee will be going to Denver, Colorado to make the City's presentation to the All America City Organization on June 12 through June 14. The committee will be spending the next several weeks working on the city's presentation.
