The phrase “art is all around us” was taken on as a challenge by the Quincy Community Theatre for its production of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

The show, based on the classic story by Jules Verne, will ask audiences to take a trip through The Nautilus, Captain Nemo’s prized ship. Instead of watching actors perform on stage, viewers will be asked to become a part of the legendary stories of Captain Nemo as they perform tasks on his ship and interact with his crew.

Take an afternoon or evening to see this show, and to step through a portal into an underwater adventure. You might even just come back with a few more fishing stories to tell your friends!

Tickets for the show are $10 per ticket and are available through the Quincy Community Theatre Box Office. The show will run from June 15th-18th. More information can be found at 1qct.org.
