Q.H.S. Basketball Shootout is Friday & Saturday

If you are a basketball “junkie” then the place to be this weekend is Blue Devil Gymnasium in Quincy as this year's Quincy Shootout takes place. Some 16 teams from 7 different states will be playing on Friday and Saturday at Quincy’s Blue Devil Gym.  This year’s roster of teams features teams from as far away as North Carolina, Nevada and Arizona to showcase their talents along with local favorites Quincy, Quincy Notre Dame, Hannibal and Monroe City. Q.N.D. will play at 8:30 p.m. on Friday and Q.H.S. will play on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

The Shootout action starts at 4 p.m. Friday with the last game beginning around 8:30 p.m.  On Saturday, play begins at 9 a.m. and runs continuously with the last game scheduled around 8:30 p.m. Saturday night.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at Quincy Senior High School or at the door. The entire schedule is listed below:
