The Quincy Fire Department is again selling commemorative t-shirts to raise funds for the Blessing Cancer Center's Financial Assistance Program. This year the shirts are black in color. The design features a full back logo with the breast cancer ribbons, dressed as firefighters, operating an old Quincy Fire Department hand pumper in observance of the City of Quincy's 175th Anniversary of being a chartered city.

The artwork was created by Quincy Firefighter Mike Dade. The shirts are on sale now and are available for purchase at the Central Fire Station at 9th and Vermont in Quincy. There will be a special drive-up sale today (October 1) at the Central Fire Station from   1 to 4 p.m. where people wishing to purchase a shirt can drive up and buy one from the vehicle.

The shirt sizes range from adult small to adult 3X and are available as a t-shirt, a long-sleeve shirt or as a hoodie. The cost is $15 for the t-shirt, $20 for the long-sleeve shirt and $25 for the hoodie.

All proceeds go to the Blessing Hospital Cancer Center Financial Assistance Program.
