With the weather being the big news of the day little has been said about today being primary day in Quincy.  The primary always has a low voter turnout and it will be very low thanks to mother nature.  The polls will be open until 7 tonight and for Quincy the only real battle is between three men vying to become the Third Ward Councilman for the City of Quincy.

The three Republican men are Ken Hultz, Jarod Holbrook, and Rich Nichols. The winner tonight will go up against Democrat Mike Martin to replace Kyle Moore who is giving up his seat as alderman to run for Mayor against incumbent  Democratic Mayor John Spring.

That election will be held on Tuesday, April 9th.
