The Blessing Breast Center’s recognition of 2018 National Breast Cancer Awareness Month began with a donation of $2,500 from Peters Heating & Air Conditioning.  The donation came from Peters’ Quincy-based “Pink Van Project". Each time the van is requested by a customer for a service call, Peters donates a portion of the proceeds to the Blessing Breast Center Patient Financial Assistance Program.  The program helps women who have no insurance or high-deductible insurance with the cost of their breast healthcare.

So if you have an air conditioning or heating issue, call Peter’s Heating & Air Conditioning, at 222-1368 in Quincy or 221-0093 in Hannibal, and ask for the “Pink” van. A portion of your bill in Quincy will go to the Blessing Breast Cancer Center and in Hannibal to the James E. Cary Cancer Center.

Overall, the Peters’ "Pink Van Project" has helped raise a total of $8,000 for patients of the Blessing Breast Center.
