They did not win the big trophy but the Payson Seymour Lady Indians made history just by being in the state softball tournament.

The lady Indians won 11 straight games to get the the state tournament and made school history with at 32 and 7 record for the year. The most in school history. Yes, some people thought they could not make it that far, to a state tournament, but they did and in impressing fashion. No, they did not get the number one trophy but what they did do was make a whole community very, very proud. Sometimes that does not happen in a small 1A school but when it does, the whole community comes together to celebrate and give thanks for the great run they had. Yes, they made history. A history to be very proud of.
