In an effort to keep traffic moving as smoothly as possible throughout the area, no parking will be permitted in the following areas on Friday, October 19 according to a release from the Quincy Police Department:

  • The south side of Jackson from 10th to 12th streets
  • The west side of 9th street from Van Buren to Harrison streets
  • The north side of Harrison from 8th to 9th streets

The parking restriction begins at 8:00 am on Friday and runs until midnight. Supplemental handicapped parking for the event will be available on 9th Street from Van Buren to Harrison.

In addition, 9th Street will be closed from Jackson to Van Buren. Despite the closures and parking restrictions, Quincy Police do advise patrons to allow plenty of time if you’re headed to the game. What might normally take a few minutes may take much longer on Friday night and parking will be at a premium, so plan accordingly. You may want to consider carpooling or using a ride-sharing service as an alternative.

The Quincy Notre Dame Raiders take on the rival Quincy Blue Devils at home and kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
