Panda Express Construction Appears to be Underway

It looks like construction has begun in the Shopko parking lot at 3200 Broadway in Quincy to build a Panda Express restaurant. Workers were seen digging in an enclosed area in the northwest corner of the parking lot today. According to reports in a recent Quincy Herald Whig, the plans are to open a 22,000 square foot building in the fall. Panda Express is the largest Chinese fast food chain in the United States with over 1600 restaurants and they are located in all but 8 states.
