Jeff Waterman of Outdoor Power promotes youth rider safety this Saturday and Sunday.

Outdoor Power is located at 2703 Broadway in Quincy and they will be distributing brand new ATV helmets at no cost to the first fifty youth ATV riders who show proof of ATV ownership. People can stop by from 9am to 6pm this Friday, December 19, and on Saturday,December 20 from 9am to 3pm, or until all safety helmets are distributed.

These helmets are made possible by a non-for-profit organization founded in 2012 by Sandy and Jeff Waterman. It is called the Lidz for Kidz Project. Funds to pay for the helmets were raised through t-shirt sales during the Palmyra SuperCross event this past summer. Additinal cash donations are being accepted by the Lidz for Kidz project to further fund this cause promoting youth ATV safety.
