‘Now Batting, The Big Dog and Brian Myles’

We are rapidly approaching the Major League Baseball All-Star break.  The event this year is in Minneapolis and begins with the Home Run Hitting Contest on Monday night followed by the actual All-Star Game on Tuesday night. In honor of the Home Run Hitting Contest, the two biggest baseball fans in the building, yours truly and Brian Myles, decided to head to the Quincy Park District's Batting Cage to audition for the chance to replace one of Monday's scheduled contestants if he should have to remove himself from the contest. While there we also challenged each other .  We both took a practice round and then it was game on......first in the medium speed (approximately 60 miles an hour) cage and then in the fast speed (approximately 80 miles an hour) cage.
