For years the North American Aerospace Defense Command or NORAD has tracked the progress of Santa around the world on Christmas Eve for children world wide to see Santa's progress. Now they are being criticized for doing so.

This year NORAD followed the jolly ole man in the red suit and his flying reindeer as they have since the 1950s, but this year was different. It was different in that NORAD, believe it or not, is catching criticism for showing fighter jets escorting Santa around the world.

Apparently, a children's advocacy group complained that the animated video provided by NORAD was too militaristic in incorporating the fighter jets in the video. According to NORAD, the fighter jets have been accompanying Santa since the 1960s.

Perhaps Santa and the Jets are flying way too fast for this group to keep up.
