TLC's popular series 'My 600-lb Life' will air all new episodes beginning on January 7. The series, which follows several people that each weigh over 600 lbs as they try to make positive changes in their lives, will enter its third season in 2015. Among the eight new cast members of the upcoming season will be a woman from Potosi, Missouri in Washington County, and a woman from Cedar Rapids.

According to TLC, Bettie Jo from Potosi, Missouri is 24 years old and weighs nearly 700 lbs. Her husband serves more as a caregiver than a partner, and her weight prevents her from participating in normal, everyday activities. "Bettie Jo is terrified she is going to die young and is desperate to live a real life."

Charity, a 38-year-old mother of one from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, weighs 787 lbs. who is being cared for by her daughter and boyfriend. "She wants to free her family of the burden she creates and find life beyond merely existing."

Season Three will also include looks back at participants from Season Two, and provide viewers with updates on those participants' weight loss progress.

The other cast members for the upcoming season are: Amber, 24, 660 lbs., Troutdale, Oregon; Susan, 37, 600 lbs., Eddy, Texas; Pauline, 50, 700 lbs., Sacramento, California; Laura, 40, 554 lbs., San Antonio, Texas; Angel, 42, 596 lbs., Kerville, Texas; and Joe, 31, 802 lbs., Johnson City, Tennessee.

The new season of 'My 600-lb Life' premieres at 8 p.m CT on Wednesday, January 7, 2015.
