Meghan Trainor, The Fray, Carrie Underwood, Def Leppard and More at This Summer’s Iowa State Fair

The Iowa State Fair will take place in Des Moines August 13-23. The grandstand lineup for this year's fair is a good one. Whether you're looking for today's stars, or some of your favorite bands from the 80s and 90s (or even earlier), there are several acts that you will recognize booked for this summer's fair.

Saturday, August 15, Def Leppard, Styx and Tesla will be on stage. Former American Idol winner Carrie Underwood is headlining on Monday, August 17. Tuesday, August 18, YES and Toto will perform. The Fray and Andy Grammar are scheduled for Friday, August 21. Meghan Trainor, Charlie Puth and Life of Dillon are playing on Saturday, August 22. The fair will wrap up on Sunday, August 23 with a Rock-A-Thon concert, starring Dee Snider, Dokken, Warrant, Firehouse & Eddie Trunk.

Ticket prices for grandstand concerts are as follows:

Def Leppard, Styx and Tesla - $53
Carrie Underwood - $60
YES and Toto - $35
The Fray and Andy Grammar - $38
Meghan Trainor, Charlie Puth and Life of Dillon - $40.
Rock-A-Thon - $30

Gate admission to the 2015 Iowa State Fair is $11 for adults (12 and older), $5 for children (6-11), and free for kids 5 and under. Advance tickets are available for purchase online at a discount. There will also be several special days during the fair that will offer discounts on admission.
