Meals on Wheels Cook’s Night Off is This Thursday

The Meals on Wheels program, like many other service programs, has had to make cuts in the last several months due to lack of funding. It is with that in mind that they hold a monthly opportunity for people in  the area called "Cook's Night Off".Meals on Wheels is holding the September Cook’s Night Off event this Thursday, November 19. This fundraising dinner for the Meals on Wheels program offers an eat-in, carry-out, or drive thru meal for just $7.

All meals include either Fried Chicken or Roast Beef, two side dishes, bread and dessert. The hours for each 3rd Thursday of each month, including this Thursday, are from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Senior Center at 639 York Street.

The next Cook’s Night Off after this Thursday will be December 17.
