Make Sure You Are Prepared For The Solar Eclipse

Quincy Medical Group is giving you a chance to see the solar eclipse with the protective wear that you need.

QMG (in Quincy) is handing out solar eclipse viewing glasses while supplies last. You can pick up your glasses on the first floor of QMG located at 1025 Maine St. Or the Eye Department which is located on the fourth floor. If you are a teacher, show your school ID and you can get thirty pairs of glasses. Otherwise there is a limit for four glasses per person.

Rays from the upcoming solar eclipse are harmful to the human eye, that is why special solar eclipse viewing glasses are highly recommended. The solar eclipse is coming up on August 21st, and we should be able to see it  between 12:15pm and 1:45pm CDT.
