Make a Nomination for the 2013 All-American Kids Awards
Bank of Quincy and the Quincy Society of Fine Arts are seeking nominations for the annual All-American Kids Awards. Nominations are being accepted for young people up to and including the age 14 who have challenged themselves to achieve excellence in one of three categories:
- Arts/Humanities: An award for a student with exceptional skill in the language, visual or performing arts. The winner may be distinguished in the disciplinesof history or literature.
- Mathematical/Natural Science: An award for a student whose curiosity has led to outstanding achievement in the exploration and discovery of theenvironment.
- Sports: An award for a student who has been challenged by athletics and turned dreams and goals into concrete reality.
Anyone may propose a candidate for an All-American Kids Award. However, it is highly recommended that the nominee be nominated by a non-rlative, such as school personnel, a coach or instructor.
The deadline for the awards is January 18, 2013.
The winner in each category will receive a $200 Educational Scholarship and a custom designed commemorative award from the Bank of Quincy.
