Loose Barge Collides With Memorial Bridge [VIDEO]

A loose barge struck the Memorial Bridge Monday morning.

According to KHQA, the United States Coast Guard announced that six barges came loose from a tug boat near the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad Bridge and began floating downstream.

Facebooker Michael NolinWinkler happened to have his camera rolling as one of the barges cleared the Bayview Bridge before colliding with the Memorial Bridge (WARNING: the language in the video is a bit NSFW).

Thankfully, the loose barges were secured before the situation turned too dire. We'll update as more information becomes available.
