Local Radio Lost a Great One Today. John Holm’s ‘Time’ Finally Came!

I woke up this morning knowing the news wasn't going to be good and I was correct with my thought. My good friend and former co-worker John Holm passed away losing his battle with cancer at the age of 84.

I met John back in 1978 when I first moved to Quincy and we were friends ever since. John worked at WTAD for 42 years and he worked up until last August when his health began to fail.

He was the ultimate professional. He worked hard, he was dependable and, if you knew him, he was always on time. There needs to be more John Holm's in this world. We just lost a wonderful man and I just lost a great friend.

My condolences to his wife , Patricia. I do know one thing, the clocks in Heaven are all on time today!
