Local Boy to Be on The Golf Channel from Master’s Site Sunday

He is 11 years old, plays golf, can drive a golf ball about 210 yards and will be playing at the Masters site in Augusta, Georgia this Sunday. He is Quinn Thomas of Hannibal. Quinn, the son of Joe and Becky Quinn Thomas, won a series of events at various golf courses in the Midwest to qualify to take part in the Drive, Chip & Putt National Finals at the Augusta National Golf Club. The event is hosted by the PGA and the USGA.

Quinn was a guest on Y101 Radio's Morning show Tuesday with Jeff Dorsey and Sarah Deien, who is Quinn's aunt. In case you missed the interview, here is your chance to hear it again.  The video below is when Quinn was just 8 years old.

The event will be broadcast live on the Golf Channel tomorrow (April 1) with Quinn scheduled to appear at approximately 8:30 central time. Good luck Quinn!
