Local Band Soul Shaker to Perform at Blues in The District Friday

This Friday night will be the 5th of 6 installments of "Blues in the District" at Washington Park in Quincy as the local group Soul Shaker takes to the bandstand.  Soul Shaker, the only local group in this year's summer lineup, features Eric McCaughey as lead vocal and guitar along with Jeff Van Kanegen on bass, Steve Hufford on drums and vocal and Burt Shackleton on saxaphone and piano.

Soul Shaker will play from 5:30 to 9:30 so bring you lawn chairs, food and drink and enjoy a great night of blues music in the historic park. Food and drink will also be available for purchase as well during the evening Friday.
