Live Pike, Love Pike, Spend Pike – New Slogan for Pike County

The folks in Pike County, Illinois have come up with a new slogan for Pike County.

It is called "Live Pike, Love Pike, Spend Pike." The slogan is being introduced by the Pike County Chamber of Commerce and several corporate sponsors to encourage Pike County residents to purchase services and products in the Pike County Area year-round. The campaign's goal is to educate local consumers about the real and valuable benefits of spending first in their home county.The "Live Pike, Love Pike, Spend Pike" program has several elements such as educational, promotions and featured businesses.

I have a mother who still resides in Pittsfield, and I love going back to the place where I call home. This plan that the Pike County Chamber of Commerce has come up with is an exciting one which ,if it stays on course, could be beneficial for the area, and not only Pike County.

My heart is still in Pike County and I hope the residents in the area can make Pike County not only a destination point, but also bring economic health to the area.
