I'd say a few tree limbs took the brunt of the heavy wet snow we received over the weekend.  Tree limbs lying on the ground were noticeable everywhere. Now the process of cleaning up those limbs is underway or will be shortly.  The problem is you only have until this Friday to have the City of Quincy pick them up.  The annual weekly yard waste collections in the city will end for the season this Friday, December 20th. The curbside collection is limited to limbs no larger than 1 inch in diameter.  Those limbs can be picked up only if they are placed in a container marked with an X on it.  They should not be longer than 4 feet and no heavier than 40 pounds.

Of course, you can still take your own yard waste and limbs to the city's brush site on Radio Road from 8am to 5pm daily through February 28th.
