After 52 years in Quincy Lakeview Restaurant and Patio Bar at 4403 Broadway today closed its doors for the last time today.

According to the Herald-Whig, owners John and Rose Griffard are getting out of the restaurant business to spend more time with their family. The Herald-Whig is reporting that the restaurant opened in 1963 as Lakeview Tap & Grill and was known for their hand breaded tenderloin sandwiches.

The facility was remodeled 30 years later and was renamed Lakeview Restaurant & Patio Bar. At its closing, the restaurant employed 15 people.
