Thanks to the Quincy Police Department, you can learn more about what they do.

The Quincy Police Department is accepting applications for the 2015 Citizens Police Academy. It is a ten week class that begins February 26. The class will meet weekly from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at City Hall. And it is free.

You will learn about all aspects of the Quincy Police Department and take part in some hands-on activities. You will learn about the street crimes unit, DUI practical and mock vehicle stops,gangs,emergency response team and have the opportunity to do a ride along with a QPD officer. You will love this class.To find out more and be eligible,participants must live,work or own property in Quincy and be at least 18 years of age.
