Kelly's St. Patrick's Day Fun Run/Walk

I have been to a few of the St. Patrick's Fun Runs at Kelly's, and I don't know where all the people come from. On that day, I think everybody in Quincy is at Kelly's!

This year, the 5K run/walk will be on March 15 at 9:15 a.m. You will see people you have not seen for a year (at least). The place is packed! On that Sunday morning everybody is Irish. And why not? It is just a great time with great people celebrating the wearin' of the green.

You can be a part of all this by cheering on a runner you know in this sea of humanity, or you can join in the fun and run in the race. Registration is available online at ywcaquincy.org, or you can pick up registration forms at Kelly's Tavern or at the YWCA office in the Senior Center lobby. Packet pickup will be on March 13 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. All proceeds from the race fund the YWCA's multiple local programs that help the homeless and low income families in the community.

Race results will be available on a scrolling screen at Kelly's Tavern on March 15.
