John Wood Community College will restore partial GED, literacy and English as a Second Language (ESL) services at Quincy, Pittsfield and Mt. Sterling locations January 11.

Federal Adult Basic Education grant dollars previously held by the State of Illinois were recently released to JWCC, which will allow for limited class sessions to resume.

JWCC Adult Education and GED staff will contact current students and individuals who previously inquired about starting courses to provide details and support. Anyone interested in starting literacy, GED or ESL classes in the future should contact 217-641-4951, ged@jwcc.edu or jwcc.edu/ged  to sign up for an orientation session.
