ORIGINAL STORY: John Wood Community College is offering a driver education program designed for busy high school students.Classes are for ages 15 through 18.

Requirements include 30 clock hours of classroom instruction and six hours of behind-the-wheel supervised driving. All classroom instruction takes place at John Wood Community in the Health Center at the 48th and Harrison campus. Behind the wheel instruction begins in January. Times are arranged between student and instructor.

Classes will be held on January 20 through May 8. There is a cost for this. Registration fees must be received to confirm enrollment.

Behind the Wheel instruction begins in January.  Times are arranged between student and instructor.  Classes will be held January 20 through May 8. Cost is $425.

Classroom Only instruction will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays, January 20 through March 12 or Mondays and Wednesdays, March 2 through April 29.  Class will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in room D028.  Cost is $100.
