Take notice, sports enthusiasts — even a friendly game of golf carries dangerous, implicit risks. Just ask Justin Timberlake.

The "Can't Stop The Feeling" singer spent the weekend driving big bogeys and whacking caddies (IS THIS GOLF LEXICON?!) at the American Century Celebrity Pro-Am in Lake Tahoe. All seemed par for J-Tim at the get-go, but he soon found himself in the line of fire. Meaning a man in the crowd sort of hybrid slapped/groped him — a man who didn't even have the decency to first loudly shout "Fore!"

According to TMZJustin responded by imploring "Bro, why would you do that?" which is like: Can you even imagine Jack Nicklaus saying this? Someone later mocked Timberlake by singing "Cry me a riverrrrrr," which is a scandal that locals likely analyzed with great curiosity after one too many martinis in the clubhouse.

Timberlake, patron saint of the celebrity golf circuit, graciously decided against pressing charges because he didn't have a mark where he'd been touched. Still, the perp was allegedly wasted, so cops arrested him anyway for disorderly conduct.

And if you hope Justin's day wasn't a total mulligan — don't worry. He still seemed as happy as a clam, like when he danced "The Carlton" with Fresh Prince of Bel Air star Alfonso Ribeiro, who originated "The Carlton" while playing the show's Carlton.
