It’s Strawberry Time!

It is a "Berry Good Time." The 139th Melrose Chapel Strawberry Festival coming June 1st, 2013

Yes, I said the 139th time that the Melrose Chapel United Methodist Church will dish out some of the best strawberry deserts around. Strawberry shortcake, strawberry sundaes and more, all at one location, 3600 Payson Road in Quincy. You will also find sandwiches, chips, desserts and a bake sale.

J. T. Dozier, who I think invented the strawberry (he he), has always brought the Big Dog and myself a sample of the strawberries into Y101. He has been doing this for years and we thank him for that. The time for the event is 3p to 7p. Eat in or Carry out. It is a Quincy Tradition. I will see you there.
