The Quincy Police Department just participated in a STEP Trafic Enforcement Detail.

During this time, Quincy Police officers dedicated around 44 hours of patrol time, working daytime hours and evening/overnight hours targeting driving while impaired  seat belt and other moving violations.

Citations were issued for the following offenses during the 44 hours of patrol time and I will list just some of the offenses, like driving while suspended, there were two of those. Driving without lights when required, one of those.  DUI, two of those, No Insurance, only one, and then there was wearing no seat belt----34 of those.

Yes, 34 drivers not wearing a seat belt while driving. It just takes two seconds to put on a seat belt  which could save you some money and save your life.

Thank you Quincy Police Department for what you do everyday.
