I remember where I was when the towers went down on that sunny day.

We were on the air at Y101 radio, when our then-receptionist, Diane, came in the studio and said a plane had hit one of the twin towers in New York. At the time,we did not have a television in our studio, so we were watching the event on a little television that Diane had at the front desk. We got on the air and started talking about it. What could have happened? Why would a big jet plane hit a very tall building? We would soon know why.

So many people lost loved ones on that day. So many innocent people were killed because of what we stand for, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Can you imagine what it was like to be up in that tower when the first one hit, and then the second plane?

It was a terrible day. But since then people have really taken a long look at what we have here. We are the greatest nation on Earth. And we will fight to keep it that way.
