How to Go From Beautiful to Ugly in 48 Hours

There seems to be a growing number of dating sites on the internet these days including one called "Beautiful People.Com". Some 3100 people submitted their real profile picture for this site and became members.

This online dating service started in Denmark in 2002 and made its way to the United States in 2005. The Beautiful People site actually lets its members vote on there own members to either keep them as a member or kick them out. Members of the opposite sex get to vote over a two day period of time to determine if someone stays or goes.

If a member gets a majority of votes they get to remain a member. If not, they are removed for being too "ugly." Some 3000 members were recently given their removal notices for not being beautiful enough.

Wow, I bet that had to hurt some feelings. The website has attracted considerable controversy and plenty of criticism for making people feel just a little bit inadequate after being given their "ugly" papers. I guess you know the risk of that happening when you sign up your beautiful or ugly face!
